I am on an amazing journey to find balance, and change my lifestyle. I’m eating clean and exercising regularly but the journey that I am on goes so much deeper than losing weight. I hope that you will follow along as I share my experiences with you. I’ll be sharing my favorite recipes, exercises, style and beauty tips.
I always found the prompt “Describe yourself” or “Tell me about yourself” challenging, not because I don’t know what to say, but because I have too much to say. Where do I start? Of course I can start with the obvious My name is Zsanett, and I’m 25 years old but where do I go from there? There is the “where are you from” that always trips me up. I was born and raised in Hungary, until I moved to the states when I was 8 years old, I spent some time living in Michigan, and then I spent my High School and College years in Wisconsin. Currently I am living in Western New York, but my family lives in Houston. Somehow I always end up saying way too much, and I haven’t even gotten to the work, hobbies, family and friends portion of my answer. My motivation and theories are usually left out, and how reliable is my explanation of myself? Obviously I wouldn’t lie, but there are those little tendencies and quirks that I don’t share with everyone, or maybe that I’m not even aware of myself. I hope that by reading through my blog you will get a more clear and idea of who I am and what I am all about.
My Weight Loss Journey
I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life, but I’ve never been one to let it define me. I’ve been very skinny and I’ve been overweight but I have never been healthy or fit. In December of 2009 I fractured my left femur, which required a titanium implant and a lengthy recovery process. I was able to recover 100% but the inactivity for months that came with the recovery process was the catalyst that really amplified the unhealthy behavior that I’ve always struggled with. I gained more weight than I have ever put on before. Once I recovered I dove into juggling internships and school and I was stressed out and tired which caused my weight to keep climbing. From there I just adopted this completely lethargic and binge eating lifestyle, and that is what I am working on breaking.
I bought TurboFire in December 2013 and I had some success with it initially, unfortunately as soon as something threw me off in my day I would skip an exercise and I ended up gaining back the 10 lbs I lost by April. I reached out to my Beachbody Coach and asked for help, she put me in a challenge group on Facebook and that completely changed the game for me! I am surrounded by people who are busy and struggling just like me, but we hold each other accountable and it has made a world of difference. I truly believe that the best thing you can do for yourself is to surround yourself with people that are going to motivate you, and hold you accountable each and every day. If you are struggling and would like some extra motivation let me know, I would love to help!
